Did you know that the Festival Theatre is situated on Edinburgh’s longest continuous theatre site? Or that it was once a Bingo hall? Want to stand on stage and feel like a star?
This backstage tour is a great chance to go behind the scenes; see the workings of the theatre and walk down memory lane as we chat through the theatre’s interesting history.
The route utilises our spacious foyers, auditorium, and stage, and has been modified to leave out some of the most enclosed spaces in the theatre, without taking away from your experience. We kindly request that everyone adheres to government guidelines - please wear a mask unless exempt, follow guidance on 2m social distancing, and frequently use the hand sanitisers that we have situated throughout the building.
Refreshments are included at the end of the tour. Tickets £10 (Friends of Capital Theatres receive £2 off).
