As part of our reopening and first year back in action, the Citizens Theatre is thrilled to join Glasgow Doors Open Days Festival - your chance to explore one of the city’s most iconic cultural landmarks after its recent transformation.
Come along for a 1 hour guided tour that dives into the heart of what we do. You’ll find out more about our fantastic new facilities, past productions, backstage secrets and how the magic of theatre happens today.
Spot architectural details from our Victorian past and learn about our cutting-edge present. Whether you’re passionate about theatre, an architecture fan, or just love a good behind-the-scenes nosey, we can’t wait to share our new building with you!
As a working building some backstage areas may not be accessible due to pre-show preparations. If guided tours are full, you can also pop in for a quick look around the front of house areas during our opening hours.
Tours are free but must be booked in advance. Tours will be at the following times: 10.30am & 3pm on Friday 19th September; 10am & 12pm on Saturday 20 September; 12.30pm on Sunday 21 September.
