Albert Westover

Born: 1894 (New York)

Died: 1967

Albert E. Westover, Jnr., was born in New York City in 1894 and graduated from the Drexel Institute in 1915 before receiving his Certificate of Proficiency in Architecture in 1917 from the University of Pennsylvania.

In 1919 Westover received An additional certificate from the Beaux Arts Institute of Design and was awarded a medal by the Societe des Architects Diplomes by the French Government.

From 1917 to 1919 Westover worked with his father, Albert E. Westover, Snr., and then launched his own architecture firm.

Like his father, Westover had some expertise in theatre design but he also engaged in considerable design in regard to housing.

Westover passed away in December 1967.
