Percy P. Lewis

Born: 1885 (Pennsylvania)

Died: 1962 (Los Angeles County)

Percy Parke Lewis (P.P. Lewis) was born in Pennsylvania in August 1885. Lewis married Ruth Augusta Lewis in Omaha, Nebraska in 1917.

During the height of his career Lewis was prolific in the Westwood area of Los Angeles’s westsde and designed more than 45 residences in Little Holmby.

Some of Lewis’s important commercial work includes St. Alban’s Episcopal Church, the Fox Westwood Theatre, and Desmond’s department store, all in Westwood Village on the westside of Los Angeles.

Lewis passed away in February 1962.
