As of mid-2022, tours run twice a week: Tuesdays at 11am and Friday at 10am. These dates/times should be used as a guide only; for the most up-to-date information check the final schedule on the Tours section of the theatre’s website Link opens in new window which also includes any blackout dates. Tours last approximately 1 hour 30 minutes and include some stairs. Reservations are required and tickets can be purchased in advance from the theatre’s website Link opens in new window or directly from Broadway Up Close Link opens in new window. As of January 2022 pricing is $54 Adult and $49 Child (12 and younger).

Radio City Stage Door Tour

9:30am to 5pm daily, every half hour

Radio City Stage Door Tour

Go behind the scenes of the Showplace of the Nation! Take a guided tour of Radio City Music Hall, discover art deco masterpieces, learn the history of the iconic Great Stage and even meet a Radio City Rockette®*.

Tours run Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday to Saturday from 9:30am to 5pm, departing every half hour. The tour lasts approximately 60 minutes.

Advance tickets are available for purchase online through Ticketmaster, as well as in-person at the Box Office located on 6th Avenue at the corner of 50th Street. Tickets are available up to 1 hour prior to the start of the tour.

Tours will be closed on certain days due to performance requirements. Check the website for the most up-to-date information.

* Tour content, prices, dates and times are subject to change without notice. Tours are offered on a first come, first served basis and are subject to availability. When an event is in progress there may be limited access to the seating area inside the Music Hall and the Hydraulics area. Furthermore, tours may only be able to view the Auditorium from a private viewing area.

In this guided tour, you’ll discover the details of Lincoln’s assassination and the fate of those involved in that historic event. Stops on the tour include: Balcony and Orchestra levels of the historic theatre; Entrance to the President’s Box, where Booth waited to shoot the President; the historic stage, where you can see the theatre from an actor’s perspective; and the back alley, where you can follow Booth’s escape route.

Tours are limited to 20 participants and led by a trained Ford’s Theatre guide with a passion for history. This guided tour covers the theatre only; you may wish to reserve earlier tickets to the full historic site including the museum, Petersen House and Aftermath Exhibits.

Length: 1 hour. Recommended for ages 8 and older. Tickets $28.

After celebrating his 80th birthday with an extensive 80 date UK Tour, the legendary Sir Ian McKellen is bringing his acclaimed one-man show to Broadway...for one night only! This fascinating, funny and extra special performance sees the theater, TV and movie veteran perform some of his most celebrated work as well as sharing personal anecdotes from his illustrious career. From Gandalf to King Lear, McKellen does it all, don’t miss it!

Directed by Sean Mathias this unique performance of Ian McKellen On Stage will be in benefit of the nonprofit organization, Only Make Believe, which creates interactive theater for critically ill and disabled children.
